GOSHEN, N.Y. (Feb. 23, 2016) — The Glen Arden continuing care retirement community recently hosted a wine, cheese and chocolate event where invited guests and residents enjoyed tastings and learned about wine, cheese and chocolate pairings.
Attendees sampled four wines from Bin 94 in Salisbury Mills, and four cheeses and chocolates from ShopRite in Chester. Bin 94 owners Doreen Brodmerkle and Ingrid Harris gave presentations, along with ShopRite Deli Manager Amanda Massarone, Shopper Advocate Katie Jonkowski and Deli Associate Ben Ferris.
Glen Arden organizers said the presentations helped the participants understand and appreciate the synergy between wine, cheese and chocolate. At the end of this fun and informative event a gift basket was raffled off to one lucky attendee.
