Outdoor Maintenance
Anytime a snowstorm comes through, it means it’s time to put on your heavy winter clothes and start shoveling the walkway and/or driveway. Otherwise, you run the risk of those areas becoming dangerous to maneuver and a possible fall risk. At Glen Arden, a Continued Care Retirement Community our team takes care of outdoor maintenance for you. Anytime there’s a snow or ice storm, they will be out there shoveling and salting the walkways while you sit comfortably indoors sipping tea or a hot toddy.
Safety Precautions
There is perhaps nothing more dangerous in the winter than driving on snowy or icy roads. Even a quick trip to the store can be treacherous. Since travel is dangerous for our residents in a snowstorm, we offer scheduled transportation to local stores and doctor appointments making it a safer choice to not miss out on the necessities of life.
