Elant’s Vice President of Medical Affairs to provide attendees with valuable insight
Goshen, N.Y. (January 17, 2014) – Glen Arden, Elant’s Continuing Care Retirement Community, will host its next “Dinner with the Doctor” lecture and dinner on Monday, January 27 at 6 p.m. in Glen Arden’s Rhinebeck Room. Dr. Sukhdeep Kaur, Elant’s Vice President of Medical Affairs, will speak about the types of osteoporosis and introduce tips for prevention and management of the disease.
A graduate of Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, India, Dr. Kaur completed her internal medicine residency at New York Medical College. She has previously served as Chief Resident and an Attending Physician at Westchester Medical Center, where she was responsible for patient care and education of medical residents and students. She is Board certified in Internal Medicine, Lipidology and Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
“Osteoporosis is a disease that impacts many adults as they get older, particularly women,” said Maureen Torelli, Vice President and Executive Director of Glen Arden. “We are proud to offer attendees this opportunity to get valuable insight from an expert.
