The Director of St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital Cardiovascular Services, Cardiac Cath and Interventional Radiology to Speak

GOSHEN, N.Y. (August 26, 2015) — Glen Arden, Elant’s Continuing Care Retirement Community, will host a “Nosh with the Nurse” lecture including a buffet dinner on Thursday, September 10 at 6 p.m. in Glen Arden’s Rhinebeck Room. Beverly Keefer, RN, BSN, the Director of St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital Cardiovascular Services, Cardiac Cath and Interventional Radiology will speak at the event.

Beverly will be presenting on the signs and symptoms of strokes, including how to act “F.A.S.T.” (Face, Arms, Speech, Time) when you suspect someone might be having a stroke.

“We are very excited to host this informative dinner with Beverly Keefer and to provide this valuable opportunity to the community,” said Maureen Torelli, Vice President and Executive Director of Glen Arden. “St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital recently received its fifth straight Get with the Guidelines Gold Plus Achievement Award from the American Stroke Association.  Beverly’s efforts in her role play a large part in their continued success.”
