Debra E. Zambito
Chief Executive Officer

Debra E. Zambito is the chief executive officer for the Glen Arden Continuing Care Retirement Community. Zambito is an experienced health care executive with over 15 years’ experience driving successful and diverse publicly-held and privately-held organizations. Specializing in operations management and corporate finance, she has successfully implemented numerous innovative and cost-savings initiatives in other organizations. Zambito’s prior positions include serving as chief financial officer for Elant and as the chief administrative officer and chief compliance officer for Kohl Asset Management.

Zambito is a member of the Newburgh Enlarged City School District Board of Education, Habitat for Humanity and the Powelton Club of Newburgh. Ms Zambito also serves on the President’s Advisory Council of Mount Saint Mary College. Additionally, she is an adjunct professor with Marist College’s School of Management in Poughkeepsie and Mount Saint Mary College’s School of Business in Newburgh where she teaches business and finance courses. Ms. Zambito received her master’s degree in business from Mount Saint Mary College and her bachelor’s degree in business from Pace University.

Genie Keating
Executive Director

Genie Keating in the executive director of the Glen Arden Continuing Care Retirement Community. In her role, Keating oversees operations at the Glen Arden facility, which provides seniors, age 62 and older, the combination of independence with the assurance of quality health care if it’s ever needed.

Keating brings 35 years of operational, human resources and marketing management leadership experience in healthcare settings including assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals and home care organizations. Prior to joining Glen Arden, Keating worked at the Fountains at Millbrook in its sales and marketing department. She’s also held positions at Maplewood Senior Living, Atlantic Care Management, Wingate Healthcare, St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, St. Francis Hospital and Health Center and Vassar Brothers Hospital. Keating earned her associate’s degree from Dutchess Community College.

Chris O’Toole

Christine O'Toole has dedicated her career to the field of long-term care over the past 40 years. She is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and Licensed Registered Nurse. She hold degrees from the College of Staten Island and St. Joseph's College. As a Registered Nurse, Chris has held various administrative positions followed by employment with The Joint Commission, as a federal surveyor.  Throughout her 14 year tenure as Nursing Home Administrator, Chris has held several roles including most recently, VP of Clinical Affairs.  Chris was the recipient of the prestigious James W. Sanderson Award for Leadership, presented by Leading Age New York. Chris resides in Blooming Grove New York with her husband. Together they have 3 children and 5 grandchildren.

Lois DiStefano
Director of Sales and Marketing

Lois DiStefano is Glen Arden’s director of sales and marketing, a position she’s held since 2014.

DiStefano has 20 years of hospitality industry success and is noted for her exceptional customer service and caring demeanor. She has a deep understanding of necessary processes which provide Glen Arden residents with a safe, meaningful and fulfilling lifestyle.

DiStefano is a graduate of Sullivan Community College and holds an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration. She is currently continuing coursework in Business Administration and Economics at Empire State College.

DiStefano is a member of the Hudson Valley Estate Planning Council and the Professional Women of Sullivan County. She is also a former board member of the Mid-Hudson Society of Human Resource Managers and is past president of the Hudson Valley Chapter of Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International.
